Berthe Savigny is a famous Quimper faience artist, daughter of Pierre de Bellay, himself a famous painter.

Berthe Savigny became renowned for her creations of breton babies and breton little girls in traditional cloth. 

The first pieces of this series came out of FAB's ovens in june 1999. This creation of Olivier Lapicque is a rebirth of artistic creation in Quimper, a nice way to close the past century and millenium.

Olivier Lapicque is born 1959 in Concarneau, in a family with a long-lived artistic tradition. But it is only 1999 that he came in touch with faience, and created this series.

Sophie Darley is an artist from Paris, who now lives in Brest. She expresses her passion for Brittany by drawing breton subjects. But Sophie Darley's creations show breton girls who are optimistic, happy, sexy. That is how they are today, and so is Brittany.
